There is no room for negativity in Jessica Sharpe's life. The 20-year-old Liberty Lake woman survived a head-on crash that shattered her bones from the pelvis down and seared her left arm with chemical burns, but six weeks and 13 surgeries later she's all smiles.

Jessica is the type of person who humbles you with her positivity. You'll be hard pressed to find anything to complain about after meeting her and learning about what she's been through.

Mobile Home Destroyed In Fire

The cause of a mobile home fire in West Spokane is under investigation.

Firefighters were called out to Sunset and Geiger Boulevard late Sunday night as flames from the mobile home spread.

It took crews more than an hour to put out the fire.

The home is a total loss. Nobody was hurt.

 The Spokane Symphony is having their 3rd  annual upscale estate sale at 1027 West 3rd Ave in Spokane. This is a 30,000 piece fund raiser sale with 10,000 of the pieces being fine china donated buy Carol Worthington. All of the proceeds will go to the Spokane Symphony.  This is not a garage sale. This is more of an antique sale. You can find everything from china, complete dinning room sets, jewelry and more. The upscale sale will run Friday (6-3-2011) from 8am-5pm and Saturday (6-4-2011) from 8am-3pm.

The Spokane Office of Neighborhood Services and Code Enforcement is hosting their first annual neighborhood BBQ on Sunday, June 12th. They hope to provide neighborhood leaders with a chance to network and develop stronger relationships that will help improve Spokane's neighborhoods.

A short formal agenda begins at 4 p.m., but after that it's bbq fun until 6 p.m. with food provided through donations by local businesses and community partners.
