Firefighters contain Browne's Addition apartment fire to kitchen
Spokane firefighters were called out to Browne's Addition Thursday morning for an apartment fire.
The fire started just before 8 a.m. at the Horizon Apartments, near the intersection of Second Avenue and Oak Street.
According to firefighters, a tenant was cooking when the fire started. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen, which suffered massive fire and smoke damage.
There were no injuries reported.
