Spokane firefighters investigate house fire
Firefighters are investigating a house fire that started early Monday morning in West Spokane.
The fire started around 3:30 a.m. on the 3200 block of West Rosamond Avenue, which is near Government Way and Sunset Boulevard.
Firefighters said the fire started in a bedroom.
A couple and their 19-year-old daughter woke up when they heard the fire alarm. They all got out of the house safely.
Firefighters said the bedroom has a lot of fire damage and the rest of the house has extensive smoke damage.
The family will stay with relatives, who live nearby.
