With temperatures slated to reach 50-degrees this weekend, avid golfers are inevitably reaching for their sticks.

Esmeralda Golf Course announced that it will be open for the first time this season Friday.

“We still have a little course cleanup to do,” Esmeralda's Facebook page posted. “We're hoping that a favorable weather forecast will offset our winter conditions.”

The course will be accepting tee time requests for the weekend over Facebook from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. After that, golfers will have to use their phone.
